Cabin in the snow

Cabin in the snow was one of my snow scenes, and has the first cabin I ever painted. Not perfect yet but I get better with practice. All though this painting sold last winter, while I was in Okahoma, it is still one of my favorites. I thought I would put it up on my blogger for those of you who enjoy snowy weather, or just like to look at a nice oil paint. Snake River

The River

The river flows through its turns
as the under water current churns
the water laps upon the shore
as it leaves little treasures galore
Sea shells, starfish, and things children save
all treasures are left by an evening tide or a wave.
